AFTER THE BELL - Dell Computer Falls

NEW YORK, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Shares of Dell Computer Corp. stumbled in after-hours trade Tuesday after the company reported earnings in line with expectations.

The company's shares fell to 78-3/4 in after hours trade on Instinet, down 10 from the close of 88-3/4.

Theglobe.com Inc. (Nasdaq:TGLO - news) traded at 49-3/8, up 1/8 from the close of 49-1/4, Applied Materials Inc. (Nasdaq:AMAT - news) was down 1/8 at 67-3/4 after those companies reported earnings.

Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) was down 2 in after-hours trade on Instinet at 154-1/4.

Dell shares continued to fall in later after-hours trade, dropping to
75-1/2, down 13-1/4 from the close.
