Gee, nothing like calculating manufacturing using a 100% efficiency rating. Poor Maytag man is out of a job again. Trust me, base any manufacturing calculations on no more than 95% capacity. No set of machines runs perfectly 100% of the time and if nothing else the human factor will take care of the other 5% if nothing else. Even if you have 1,000 machines, they still should be looked at as one manufacturing unit and when one machine goes down it affects the overall output of the manufacturing unit. Therefore, you can almost guarantee 5% downtime across the whole manufacturing capacity. Believe me this is being generous. Not that it is a big deal but you did say "fun with numbers".
