John:Yeah, yeah I saw you guys going back and forth with it on the issue if I am not mistaken that has nothing to do with corporate sales and yes it does matter,Dell just blinked and admitted as much by saying this that it is 'not an exact science' (taking about pricing and margin) and didn't want to lower the price last quarter for whatever reasons, misjudgment perhaps but the ability to reduce the price and beat the competition is definitely built in their model, my god the inventory thing is at 6 days now for starters and the DSO thing improved by 3 days or so,how many PC companies you know can honestly say that.(making up things don't count like that 'bluffer' guy)- He says "you may not believe this but we (CPQ) are the undisputed leader in the interent thing"- yup that is a good one.And oh yeah I forgot and he continued ....''coz we got that internet button thing happening on our machines and hence the leadership' or some such nonsense, yeah bloody likely too.<vbg>

So it wasn't like they were unable to lower the price because of cost constrains and that is the point I was trying to make, not comparing a single unit of consumer crapola and see who can beat who, that is not the issue,it never was.

Are you deliberately trying to piss me off or something?<vbg>
