I think you should do what you feel is right for you. One could arguably debate a position on either side of your idea. One side could undoubtedly be: "the road to Dante's Inferno is paved with good intentions" and the other side could be, "it will pump us up"!

Your call as I see it.

L&$$$$ WCTI

Larry, I don't think that it would do much good at this point. While I do troll the Yahoo boards for suggestions, and have occasionally acted on those suggestions, I suspect that WCTI is now going to be driven by hard news such as the launch of the beta site and, more importantly, the reaction, both on the part of the public and the geeks who will be reviewing the engine, to the actual performance of the engine. If the performance is as good as we anticipate, the word will circulate without our help.

Also, Jim Fitzgerald does make a good point about degrading your image, though not with us of course. Your call.

Every time one of my investments has a bad day, some pump-and-dump vulture shows up on the thread telling me how I can get my money back by investing in his "favorite stock." I find it disgusting.

Will it have a positive effect? Probably. Anyone stupid enough to invest in Yahoo will buy anything.
