I confess I am looking forward enormously to Rod's reply to your question. From day one, I thought Rod's preamble to the thread - started, as I recall, in response to Del's stated preference for an Inprise, rather than Borland masthead - was the epitome of tongue-in-cheek writing. The lightness of touch with which he deployed sarcasm - not the easiest of materials to work with - impressed me greatly. I hope I am not going to be disappointed..... Rod?

Not to pick nits, Mark, but Rod's switch has only been 180 degrees. Not to worry, as in the past, he will eventually come round full-circle. At that time, we should be hearing about the impending Oracle buyout. Not a question of if, but when :-)
