Did you read the financials, or are you just spewing this stuff out? The gross margins were up, and his point was that if they kept them flat (i.e. passing more savings on to customers), the top-line revenue would've been up.

BTW, why are all of you people all of the sudden coming out of the closet? Live it up. Your joy won't last long.

Ths simply means that DELL was not as aggressive early on with it's pricing as it could afford to which perhaps would have fixed the revenue issue, lowered margin a bit and kept earnings the same. This, however, is one of the simpler problems to fix.

PS: Of couse, if it is a problem worth fixing. I would rather have DELL move up the margin ladder than have great revenues and unit and low ASPs and margins.
