If this means that DELL is getting into the sub 1K market, I would get worried too. But the CC mentioned that they were avoiding it like the plague.

Otherwise, in the past in every other segment where DELL had a product, it always had the best price - nothing new in that. Well, perhaps that slipped in 4Q leading to the revenue shortfall. So, it will simply be back to where the relative price positions were in 3Q. nothing new.

if nothing else, Dell has climbed to the top of the SI "hot list"...of chat threads, that is. A sign of anxiety? I think so.

Bye bye, Dellheads. "The next Dell" is definitely not Dell. But the stock action already told us that, right? Seems like only someone with a yen for gambling would be holding long through this earnings report...or long-term holders...

So any guesses on how low she'll go tomorrow? She's been way overpriced for quite sometime, so it seems like the pump is primed for a good tanking.
