From what I have seen, MD has never lied to the public. Obviously, MD does care about his stockholders or he wouldn't have announced a stock split. I subscribe to the theory that someone went dumpster diving for accounting information. By the way, why is being the #1 performing stock of the decade not good enough for you? I don't think you can get a better ranking than 1st? I recommend you BUY some more Dell or hold what you've got, and then evaluate your Dell against Compaq and the S&P500. I bet you will feel happy and will change your wavering opinion of MD. Also, you do realize that Dell included January sales in their accounting qtr. It will be interesting to see how other competitors report their January sales on their next quarterly earnings announcement. My suspicion is that January was a bad month for computer sales in the industry and other companies have yet to report it, such as IBM< CPQ< GTW<. REMBEMBER LONG ON DELL!
