B.J.

Could you please elaborate on your strategy? I am new both to technical analysis and using mechanical buy/sell points. I don't understand your shorthand of adx and esa nor the timeframe in which you're looking for these events to take place. Up until now I have been seat-of-the-pants, which has gotten my feet wet, but has not helped my account balance. Thanks for being patient with a newbie.

BJ,

"esa" = "ema"?

Solid strategy. Buying into the first pullback after a new high is a very low risk trade. The key, timing-wise, is getting in with the resurgence of momentum. Otherwise you are stuck for a few days.

Feel free to post what you find that fit your parameters.
