<<BTW, did you know Citibank Investment Services offers (or soon will, I haven't had a chance to check it out) online trading for as low as $19.95 per trade? Did you know this service is tied into their online banking service which is about to kick off a major promotional campaign with the launch of their new financial portal site? >>

Now THIS made me laugh out loud!! I've been a banking customer of Citibank for over 10 years, when they called this service Focus, and you had to dial-in directly using a DOS program, now it is called Citigold and Direct Access. I've used their $19.95 service (which is much higher for phone trades, 1,000 shares is $100/trade PLUS $0.02/share!). If you criticize E-Trade, wait til you try these guys. For instance, you can't place an on-line trade to sell a stock you bought until it has settled! That'll appeal to the day-traders for sure. Three months later, I'm still trying to get a credit for the extra commission they charged me when I had to phone in the trade! Writing a covered call on a stock uses up all your margin on that stock! I have 0.769 shares of FF, worth $8, that'll be in my account forever because their system wouldn't let me sell the fractional shares! If this is the best threat to EGRP you can come up with, I'm gonna go buy some more EGRP!

Oh man, Citibank, what a threat. Stop, you're killing me. :-)
