Nicholas is the younger, just turned 11, and I have to keep reminding myself that he is just a baby. On Saturday, while Benjamin and Chris go to the war game store to play, Nicholas and I bum around together, and he is sometimes very mature. Like he'll start rubbing my back if he sees me put my hand back on the bad spot I got in a wreck. On the other hand, he has a very large collection of Beanie babies, and other such stuffed animals, which he buys himself. I had to take him to Tysons Saturday so he could buy one he wanted. I used to buy them when he was little, but I just can't see paying $25 for a tiny stuffed animal, no matter how adorable. So he buys them out of his allowance. He gets $11 a week, Ben gets $13, they get $1 a week raise on their birthdays. They don't get an allowance if they don't clean their room, however.

I can really see him as Emperor of the World, however. He has a penchant for building things. I mentioned, I think, the "Irrationality Detector" which he uses on me when I won't let him do something he wants to do. It's a step up from the "Mom Controller" which he built when he was three or four. It had a button for making breakfast, a button for making lunch, a button for making dinner, and a button for giving love.

Naturally, if your CW is Dictator of the Universe, and my Nicholas is only Emperor of the World, you would have precedence. If you invited me to visit on your yacht, I would be honored, and if you would deign to visit my humble yacht, even more so.
