I believe there are other end-of-day programs that allow for more complex and flexible description of stop levels than MSWin.

But why not work on developing profitable end-of-day systems before worrying about intraday enhancements?

My point was that if one can't tell the end-of-day program (MSWin) what the exit strategy is (in terms of end-of-day criteria -- because one just monitors throughout the day, and sells based on that monitoring), then one can't really do back-testing on that system.

But assuming that back-testing is so desirable, what is one to do in the above scenario?

Duh, you buy software that acumulates RT data for testing systems. There are packages that do robust testing on any time frame data.....
Why would you assume otherwise?? Oh yeah your looking for all the quick answers and not doing your homework.
