Neocon, Good post. Ya know, George Bush's problems actually started in '87 with the demise of the stock market. The economy based upon defense spending was going down fast. Old George took it on the chin in the middle of his term and it clocked him pretty bad. I did not vote for the guy a second time because I felt he just wasn't doing enough to soften the blows to the dedicated defense workers who won the cold war and were now losing their jobs, houses, marriages...etc. I worked for the defense industry at that time and it was really terrible watching everyone get pink slips and face an uncertain future. -John
