JW, It's interesting you mention the printer port being bad because I also couldn't install my printer on an enabled USB port. I figured I'd deal with the monitors first. d.

To Thread, Jon e-mailed that my replacement mobo was shipped today.
Would someone comment a quick/easy way to exchange boards?

1-Write/print screen all current BIOS configurations
2-Install new board. plug in keyboard, not install any cards, turn on
and set BIOS per old settings
3-Install new board, install all cards, ide and other cables. turn on, hit DEL and then set BIOS configurations. Save and re-boot.
4-Install mobo, keyboard, set BIOS and install one device at a time as ZP's instructions were for the original setup.

Keeping fingers crossed parallel and USB ports along with all slots are OK.

Your thoughts would be appreciated

Regards, /jw

ps; I offered to buy old board for a practice machine but Jon said he would have to return to Abit for a replacement. I understand
