Michael,

<<I suppose it makes it easy to not challenge your assumptions if you can label the people disagreeing with you and place them in a tidy little box of thought huh?>>

<<If you can't attack the message, simply attack the messenger.>>

I wasn't attacking the message nor IMO attacking the messenger
(although I can see why you thought so)

You voiced a opinion how men and women are viewed in our society,
I commented that there seemed to be a shift in these attitudes among younger people.

My comments to Michelle constituted an opinion of mine that this thread has more conservative voices than the general population as a
whole.

I think it's valid to say that Evangelical Christians try to convert
others to their religion than most other religions in this country.
My understanding of the thought process is they want everyone they know and care about to be saved.

What may have offended you was my statement " I think they tend to voice their opinions more frequently than the average American"
This was a broad statement, however in regards to Clinton and moral issues I would say it's correct, but not necessarily a bad thing.

<<This is the typical Clintonite response when challenged regarding an issue.>>

I understand the thread is about Clinton but as has happened frequently here, we had veered off the subject. I find Clinton's
timing of the bombings of Iraq much more bothersome than his shenanigans with females. Many more people are put at risk by acts of
war than by someone who has a problem keeping his trousers on. (At least if he doesn't commit acts to distract people from the trouser episodes)

Personally I don't get too upset by many of the actions of our political leaders (whatever the leaning) since we are a long way from what my Great Grandparents and Grandfather experienced in the former Soviet Union and Nazi occupied Austria.
