would hope DI gives you an option to restore a file
I'll take a look this evening..

if they can not deliver the goods...AND I do not like the fact that they keep
my credit card on file for future purchases.

Hit or miss apparently with ONsale.....I picked up a few items there during my buging spree w/o a hitch. There cc policy is mischief or worse waiting to happen though. Have you heard about the new Dow Jones indices coming out next week. One is the Dow Jones Internet Commerce Index (DJICOM). This one will be extremely interesting to watch. The other DJISVC or Dow Jones Internet Services. They both will be comprised of 25 companys in those industries. Prime fodder for adventurous option traders.

Onsale .. they did not
indicate any inventory problems when I ordered.

That is wrong thinking on their part.... if inventories can be made available for customer inspection, it should be so.

Third harddrive. a removable utility designed like your KOT to service NT and store Drive
Images.

So are you thinking of this removable KOT like a really big Jaz cartridge that would not be installed in your machine unless you need it? I can see the benefit of a removable KOT drive within a multi machine environment. Are there any reasons to implement a removable drive in a standalone system? I'm not quite sure of the logistics of its use other than the safty of keeping it off-machine.

I wonder if I can use FAT 16 extended
partitions beyond 8.4 gig??

Interesting .... like breaking the 17 gigs into (2) 8.4 gigs..
