I had my doubts at first. My wife is totally negative. Sure satellites and pole tops have been used for many decades now. PLFM seems to acquire more backing all the time. I think it has a 100
mile diameter coverage so it shouldn't be a problem near cities.
If Columbus hadn't sailed this way quite a few years back I might
not be able to communicate with you. Someone gets an idea and some-
one else follows up on it.

I wonder what the sub minder fleet of planes from Moffit field, between San Francisco and San Jose, are doing now. At one point the US Government had them covering the Pacific Ocean 24/7 watching for Soviet submarines. I believe the airplanes used were P3 O'Ryans.

Seems the USG thought the Navy could cover part of the planet.
