But don't forget- the switching in and out of the stock market by the masses is tragically misguided. In the 15 mos following the crash of Oct 1987, the SP 500 gained more than 23%. And in every one of those mos except one, stock mutual funds experienced a net loss, or outflow, of investors' money. Victor
