"In these ranks we have people with very strong
credentials. Lawyers, Mutual Fund managers, Chief Market strategists, Corporate
treasurers, Corporate controllers, Professional traders, Newsletter writers, Brokers,
etc. "

I am none of these, but have held a steadily bearish position for over two years and would like to know how this constitutes 20-20 hindsight. It's not hindsight that had me finally going into LEAP puts beginning about six weks ago when the insanity became truly intolerable.

But newspeople can only stick with immediacies. Unless they are unusually gifted and independent. Also, we will see a sudden emergence of all sorts of wise bears the minute the marekt really starts to crack. Except for putting Fleckenstein on once a week and Tice on every six weeks or so, CNBC has been like the local sports station reporting a run of victories by the home team.
