If you can figure out molecules, cancer treatments, delivery devices, Phase 3 trials, FDA approval criteria, etc. I can only say, well done. I have always admitted here that I "just don't get it" so I don't play biotechs.

But I can figure out Internut basics as long as I know how the market is valuing a given company. The Internet realm includes infrastructure, ISP's, necessary software, retailers and content providers or aggregators. That's a rough list. Name a company and I will tell you which category it fits in, its main competitors and whether it has a comparative advantage. I can do that because I "get it" when it comes to the Net.

I wouldn't touch AMZN myself and have only daytraded it in the past. My current Internet holdings are RNWK (software and content aggregator), CMGI (an Internet venture capital fund essentially) and VRIO (hosts Web sites for businesses). EPAY could be considered an Internet software company too. I also have several retailers which do business partially or completely on the Net: CPU, FLYR, NETS, and PROG.

The Internuts could certainly melt down (you could say they have already started), but then it's a matter of good stockpicking. Someone posted here a while back with an all-Internut portfolio he was bragging about. I should go back and compare its value now to then. Probably down 30% or so. I believe that my Internut holdings are diversified and promising companies (RNWK and VRIO were up yesterday).

For me, that's better than just guessing. I hope you can add some good biotech talk here, and our chatter about the Internuts is interesting for you too.
