Thanks to your post, I was able to set the AGP as primary. Also, IJed referred me to support.microsoft.com which must be the line in the BIOS that you remember adding. We don't have exactly the same cards. My secondarys are ATI 3D Rage Pros, the primary a Matrox millenium. I did do the cards one at a time. When the PCI was set at primary (by default), one monitor came up on 1 ATI card, & a 2nd on the Matrox. When I set the AGP as primary, only one monitor would come up (on the Matrox). I did the fix (link above) but it didn't work. When I removed the Matrox, only one of the 2 ATI would bring up a monitor, so I was further behind. Always one at a time.
Aside from this, Abit tech told me that the board only supports 2 video cards. Did that deter you or is it something they always say that doesn't mean anything? No computer expert here! I mean the board is certainly behaving as if it doesn't support more than 2 video cards, & the ATI cards are behaving as though there is a problem with one serving as secondary. Right now I'm on my old Aptiva (where the 2 cards do function together), but will give it another try later. I'm going to check with ATI. Sorry to be so lengthy. If this jogs your memory as to something else you tweaked, would be pleased to hear.

best wishes
