Enjoy yourself here on the thread for your short stay should end tomorrow. The usual stay for the bear blowoffs are 1-2 wks..Then its put the ole tail between the legs and runoff.without even a goodbye

Hey Donnie, I am still here, and it would appear that there are now a lot better opportunities to make money than a company whose profits may at best grow 30 percent year over year going forward. At best, that would dictate a 12 month target of 75. Doesn't look to me like DELL stock is a big money maker going forward.

Worse yet is the prospect that DELL be traded at a reasonable multiple of 30, which means a price of $60.00. In other words, it looks to me like you are working on a near 45% haircut over its recent highs.

Even more ominous is the fact that this recent shortfall came almost exclusively in the last month. That bodes very poorly for the future. What does our boy Venkie say in response to the significantly declining rate of sales, the increased Internet competition, the prospect (nee almost certainty) of increasing component prices, and the stock price whose technicals are broken?

So now cow poke, who is going to put his tail between his legs and runoff without even a goodbye?

Jock, I just wanted to take this opportunity to ask you to hang around. You are the most knowledgeable and articulate of bears to appear on this thread, and I for one appreciate your comments.

Of course, it goes without saying that you are totally wrong about Dell <VBG -- just kidding>.

Sometimes we, on this thread get a bit too caught up with what some of us view as the inevitability of Dell being the largest cap company in the US, so we do need some reality checks.

So don't be put off by clowns like gc. Please stick around.

TTFN,
CTC
