solution for consumers. The Zip(R) 100MB drive is currently offered in
many home PC lines to meet the increasing need for removable storage

"The HP Pavilion 6370Z with the built-in Zip drive was developed
to meet customer needs for critical file backup, digital image
storage, Internet downloads and large file portability," said Amanda

market, this model has been extremely popular."
The Zip(R) 100MB drive continues to gain acceptance as a standard
or optional feature in consumer computer lines offered by leading PC
manufacturers. Recently, Iomega shipped the one millionth Zip(R)
Built-In(TM) drive to both Dell and Apple Computer.

-- Apple includes a Zip drive on configurations of its
just-introduced and reinvented Power Macintosh G3 line and
added the external Zip(R) USB drive as a purchase option on
its on-line Apple Store (www.apple.com). The Zip USB drive
works with both iMac and Power Macintosh G3, which both
integrate USB as a standard.
-- Compaq offers Iomega's Zip drive standard in several models
and as an optional feature in its Presario line of PCs.
Compaq offers the Zip drive as a choice at over 6,000
Built-for-You kiosks where customers are given the
opportunity to configure their own Compaq computer system.
The majority of customers ordering their systems via the
retail kiosk and web, choose to add Zip drives.
-- Dell offers the Zip drive as an optional feature across its
Dimension desktop line and the Zip drive is standard in many
models including the XPS R450, winner of PC Computing's MVP
award for state-of-the-art desktop PC.
-- Gateway Inc. offers the Zip drive as an optional feature
across its G series consumer line.
-- Hewlett-Packard Company made the Zip drive a standard
feature on various models in its Pavilion series including
the HP Pavilion 6370Z and 6470Z PC and new HP Pavilion 8480Z
PC. Zip(R) drives are available on all Pavilion models as a
configure-to-order option at 500 Circuit City retail
locations nationwide.
-- Micron offers Zip drives as an optional feature on both the
Millennia and Millennia MAX product lines.
