excellent posts, everyone....especially those who covered the cc... it's amazing to me that MRVC will open lower today. One would think most of the short-term investors have been washed out by now. Clearly, that's not the case. Yes, there are still a lot of questions remaining. Yes, management chooses not to answer many of those questions (THIS is VERY frustrating). But, the positives certainly outweigh the negatives (IMHO)...at least from what we know. I'll reiterate what we've ALL been saying for months...it sure would be nice to see management buying... oh, and for those who are complaining and feel the stock should be higher...look at this as your buying opportunity, for if you're correct, at some point the market will realize the value of this company.

I think there will be institutions out there that will see MRVC as an excellent long term investment... IMO, It will take another few quarters of upside surprises to get the taste of the summer of 1998 out of their mouth.

Sector...I think you have to write off whatever comes out of the fool board, the negative thoughts are obviously meant to drive the price of MRVC down. On the other hand, yahoo has Vlad producing about 9 out of ten posts now as against about 5 out of 10 a few months ago. Vlad happens to be a bright chap but his method is one of delusion and confusion. He also is posting to knock the stock down, he belongs with the fools. WEB...Your post on earnings doesn't take into account the one time profit of $4.7 million without which they could not have shown a $.01 loss. However, without the $3.1 million dollar write off of obsolete products, MRV would have shown a $.10 profit. Oh well, someday. btb PS Vlad is posting under BERNYTHEBUG on yahoo.
