To all:
Many of us believe in the strength of the fundamental business of WCII--wireless broadband fiber. Principally, because it opens up fiber to buildings inexpensively. Places like Argentina are a huge untapped market. I think this is terrific--at least in the medium term. These guys have proven in NYC that the model works bigtime. In a few years, WCII plans on being a very major international player. If it is, ownong wcii would prove to be the best investing decision any of us had ever made.

STEVE:

<<Alex,
Dave Schmieg is the head WinStar International, "responsible for developing and implementing WinStar's international strategy and operations focusing initially on Europe, Canada, Latin America and the Far East".

Schmieg was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of WinStar Telecommunications in the US.>>

It was announced last week that he is no longer with Winstar !!!
I personally think that his "shift" to international from president of Winstar Communications was a "parking" action to put him somewhere
until his contract ran out (????)

Joel

PS: I have no idea of who is in charge of the international business
at this time.
