THERE ARE NOW TWO PRICEWATCH LISTINGS FOR THE K-6 II 450 FOR DELIVERY LATE FEBRUARY!

I READ THIS THAT AMD IS NOW ABLE TO PRODUCE MORE OF THEM THAN THE OEMS ARE TAKING.

THERE HAS BEEN NO DEMONSTRATED LACK OF INTEREST IN THIS CHIP ON THE PART OF 9 OF THE TOP 10 OEMS.

REGARDS,

DARBES

Private Bruce - Re: ""AMD's decision to sell our 900-MHz DSS products and technology to DSP Group reflects our strategic focus on designing and producing semiconductor products for the personal computer and PC-connectivity industries,"

Looks like AMD is "parting out" their corporation to generate money and stem losses.

1999 Revenues will possibly be even LOWER than 1998 revenues and losses may plague them throughout the year.

What will AMD "part out" next ?

The White House ? - Nope - it has already been sold.

Vantis ? Good chance .

Flash and FASL ? Maybe - AMD is losing in that business as well.
