John,

The consensus today (there are a few detractors) is that we've had our bump in the road from DELL and worries about earnings ... that means it is time to get back to BAU -- BTDing and even more buying.

I have a sneaking suspicion, that after Mikey's talk and a few maintains and some other bullish comments out of the chipmakers, that we will resume our slide. Public is still very bullish, IMHO.

Re EMC: I bought it many moons ago around 18 and sold for less than a double.

They have had phenomenal growth and they have to hit the wall sometime, but I think they will be one of the last ... EMC is in a good position. The impression I have from watching the last few years is that IBM and STK's technology just never was quite as good in the application and EMC's sales people were incented to be very, very agressive. EMC won this market and I don't think they are going to lose it ... the stock price will be hit only when there is a general slowdown in the overall biz, IMO.

Boy I'll say. If Meta's forecasts are anywhere near accurate this puppy is going to rock for awhile, since we all know BK is a Myth.
