Hi Friends

I'm a newbie trying to learn. I picked up 250 shares of GBFE @$2.00 on 2/1/99. I had a limit sell order standing - but it didn't quite get that high yesterday. Boy - what a ride! I was in such a good mood yesterday morning as I was watching it rise.<g> I was tempted to cancel my limit sell, but followed my rules of not being greedy, and would have been happy even if it had gone higher. Then, the CNN report hit, and I really didn't know what to do. I had decided to risk to $1.00 before getting into GBFE, so I also let that ride. After trading, I but in a sell order for this morning @ $1.50, and was happy with that decision.

Anyway, if you're still reading, what I want to know is: What is the lesson here? Sell *immediately* on bad news? Or, had I made all the right decisions and just got unlucky?

Thanks!

Jeri
