YZ, His other misjudgement was in believing his Intel partners that the sub $1000 pc was a flash in the pan. At least I give the guy credit for admitting he was totally wrong. Intel has lied about it, saying they always loved the sub $1000 pc. <G>

Companies that have grown rapidly often keep a slush fund where they can pull accounting eps into a weak quarter. I don't know if that is the case here, but it kinda looks like it. I just haven't been able to track down the source on the books yet. GE is the master of this "smoothing" strategy.

I don't care what new ideas Dell has. He is a one trick pony. Internut firms make zero dollars, so does he risk the bloated Dell multiple to invest in money losers? I doubt it, despite the Web Site registration. If he does it, it might pop the dog for a day or two, but then, it would be adios, feather pluckers, to the stock price.
