Yes, although I think that all the brokerage and bank stocks are considered highly cyclical. Etrade will fall harder because of its high valuation and high beta and lack of earnings. Also, in a competitive squeeze, MER and others will cut market share away to survive. They have deeper pockets so they can outlast Etrade in a price war.

I am short Etrade options because I couldn't short the stock itself via Brown and Co. I do believe we are heading into a major bear market.
