K..Since Mike's pep talk his stock is down 7/16 and CPQ has moved up 9/16. How did you like the way he skirted the issue of sub 1K machines? "Lower component costs will drop the price to that level" Seems like to me that six day inventory is taking a long time to bring his product into the sweet spot of mass market boxes.

I am wondering what will happen to Dell's profit margins if they go sub-$1000 market. Dell is married to Intel and claimed they will not use other companies processor chips. I doubt whether they can compete with CPQ and HWP effectively with INTC chips inside in sub-$1000 market. Looks like DELL has to play by CPQ and HWP rules when they enter this unchartered territories (for DELL). It is nice to see tables turned on them for a change.

Thanks,
Ramesh
