This is not a partisan issue. Remember it was the Republican Orin Hatch from Utah who led the Senate hearings on Microsoft that provided a huge forum for its competitors to complain.

The DOJ and FTC are under the executive, Mr. Clinton, not congress.

That is not bad. Like i posted earlier, one of the lobbyist hired by MSFT is close to Al Gore.
Maybe the liberal democrats are not on that anti-MSFT bandwagon. I remeber Orin Hatch (Republican) was the biggest critic. I don't think the Democrats want to appear radical and screw up the next election.
I bet Clinton's message to Joel Klein and Janet Reno would be
---> Don't rock the boat guys(and this message will get louder as the intel trial starts--you can bet on that).
