Market Applauds Bid.Com Seeking Nasdaq Listing

Bid.Com International Inc. (BII/TSE), up 15¢ to $6.60, on volume of 5.2 million shares.

The stock rose 2.3% yesterday after the online auction company said it had applied to list on Nasdaq. A review is expected to take 30 to 45 days.

Paul Godin, Bid.Com's chief executive, said: "Our market presence in the United States and the growth of our business has made listing on Nasdaq a logical step."
