People have to preserve their capitals. Isn't that what you keep
telling people?

Tim, stocks go up and down.
We're all adults and your picks
are great, they just don't go
straight up <vbg>

TMex doesnt get emotional about his picks and just puts them out there ...

You put your picks out there in cyberspace too but you constantly re-inforce them everyday because you answer everyone's questions.

Perhaps a disclaimer?

Jane

Tim, I think the reason you have so many followers is that you do give a damn. I like the fact that you feel bad. I know that sounds strange, but it says a lot about you and your motives. You are one of the few people who help people and expect nothing in return. How can anyone possibly have a reason to complain if things don't always work out. They never will, not with you nor with anyone else. But I want you to know I appreciate your advice, and I will certainly continue to follow the thread, with no enthusiasm lost.
Cheers,
Mike

TIM , My FRIEND! When I posted my losses this morning I IN NO WAY meant to imply you were responsible. That is absurd.I sold today for only one reason, that being HUGE VOLUME SELLING and a rapidly declining share price. This told me something had happened and since at the time I had no idea what I felt compelled to cut the losses where there were until I could find the reason. Tim you are the most honest and sincere leader of a thread on SI. I have reentered FORE and am happy holding (again my choice). Anyone who has traded any length of time at all is well aware of the risks and also knows they are responsible for their own actions without exception. And anyone who even remotely tries to lay the blame for their losses on another is a fool. Again I want to thank you for all you do and I'm sure I speak for almost everyone on the thread when I say " TIM LUKE YOU ARE A CLASS ACT" Sincerely, MarkC.

account and also another stock which is a BB and I wont
mention on this thread.

One more thing.
I think you should take it as a compliment that people spend
their valuable time to come over here and bash you.
Wow! you must be someone that they are afraid of.
Let em keep coming and bashing!!!
When they find out what you and Glenn and myself to a small
extent are working on.... then believe me you will have the last
laugh.
Hay would someone bash me for awhile!!!
Please!!!
I would feel very important if you did:-)

Tim Luke,

i appreciate that you're a good soul. i hardly ever make any stock recs for same reason you're feeling bad with people losing money on your picks........all the same, my wish for you is that you only feel
bad for those who have thanked you profusely when they made money off your picks......and only feel really guilty for those who gave you a percentage of their profits when they made money off your picks.
you are working with clean intent. we all must take responsibility for our own successes and failures.
if anyone tries to make you feel responsible, tell them to hand you over their money and you'll invest it for them and take a percentage.
best regards, Dan B.

Tim,
Chill out! I don't think there is a legitimate poster here that expects you to co-sign on their purchases of your picks. These are all level headed investors here.

On the other hand, if you want to take responsibility for one of your picks having to restate earnings, I will just send you my money to invest and go on vacation. I didn't know anyone had a crystal ball that good!<GGG>

Tim and everyone, this is kind of off topic.

I have made a lot of money, I have lost a lot of money, and I have wasted a lot of money, both in the market, and in life. But a very dear friend of mine called me tonight to go out for a beer to tell me that his cancer is back with a vengence and that he has 6 to 8 weeks.

I'm 39 and Tim is 41, so lets keep the market, and our picks in perspective.

I'm sorry that I cried here, but I am a redneck at heart, and it's not accepted for me to cry out loud.

I think that I will live with the stocks that I hold through this neurotic market and just go buy a 12 pack, and suck it down. Love you all, and things will be better in a day or two. If they are not, who cares.

Sorry for this.

Jeff
