The eventual digital VCR market is probably larger than the current drive market... consider the number of traditional VCRs in use today. Also consider that the digital VCRs might be built in to the digital TVs in the future. The #s are hard to predict, but no matter what, it will be a substantial increase in market size when drives move from PCs to PCs + TVs. Of course, the drives will have to be pretty cheap...
