Well, I must apologize to both you and Trial-Member Savani (if still around) guessing you two are the same person. To re-quote you..."How can any investors have ANY faith in a Canadian tech stock after what this company has displayed to it's investors" It's 1999 now.. we won't forget the past, but you can't start wearing blinders that prevents you in foreseeing the future of technology .. in my regard to the company's efforts shifting from being a "hardware" company to a "software" company .. Which is probably the #1 reason of poor? performance during their transition. I went to FutureShop yesterday to see all of the "off-the-shelf" voice software and hardware that is for sale, and a whole row was dedicated to this. I have not tested any of the products myself. I did not see any BCB in the bunch either. "I AM" <like the ibm commercial> what I would like to think part of the "NEXT GENERATION" <sorry Star Trek pun> ... I see one day computer screens in picture frames hanging on your walls, or part of TV that is linked to internet via satelite transmission, and no cabling - People can't type anymore - Why bother when they can just hit CTRL-F7 and use Spell-Check. Integrated Speech I think will become as common as the internet in its expansion and use. Of course, as a consumer, I would probably have to find a pretty good argument to pay for it and would try to download it free from the 'net, or hope to upgrade my hardware and have it "included" in i.e. win2001 etc ... At least nickle dime the cost ... Thus, seeing stuff sell cheaply at FutureShop off-the-shelf. Good for me, bad for business.. And, speaking of business, Business Sales that is, getting the product in courts and other government venues to me "makes sense" <governments pay $200 for hammers, don't they?> :0) All bureacracies may seem to be slow to change, but once they do I imagine its across the board. Even associations like medical or legal ones can spread the word or even make it a mandatory requirement to maintain current technology .. Doctors and Lawyers always want new toys and the latest technologies ... and have money <---- generalization, sorry. :)". I've seen trends like this one Hart. I know exactly where it's leading." Well, I hope the trend is up .. and not down like I take you are suggesting, leading to profit and higher share value for all of us. I heard a rumour that the company is negotiating a few contracts that will generate sales over double what last year's sales were... if this is even close to being true, (perhaps someone can pass along if they heard this too>. The company needs some big sales this year so it can cover the overhead development selling and administrative expenses, rather than issuing new shares to finance the losses and dilute the value of our investment. Oh .. speaking of value, I just don't believe that all the people's "value" of their BCB investment dictates by the ending day value derived from <i.e. today> 3500 shares traded ..last price 1.40, but yesterday closed at 1.30 ... Did our stocks really increase in value? Well, the only thing increasing in value is my caffeine and nicotine levels.. Time to head home and eat.. Sorry to drag on and on everybody ... Take care. HART
