Hi Doug, First, go to Freerealtime.com, sign up for free - then build a portfolio of stocks you like. When you "click" on the stock symbol in your portfolio's list of stocks - you will get a "real time quote". You will notice one window that says "tick" and has + & - signs in it. That shows what is happening in the way of buys and sells. +-+- means funny-business, +--- means "going down...", -+++ means "going up...", ---- means "oh ****" and ++++ means "whoopee..". See your investment manual for more technical explanation! :-) John :-)
