$100 phone? The Clik! statements in the analysis are ludicrous, at best!<<

Again, you are basing your conclusions on logic alone, without having
market research data to back you up.

Sometimes logic comes in handy! This is the first test that should be applied. I don't need market research to tell me that people will NOT spend 2x-3x on a handheld item just to get this feature. Maybe as an addon, a handful might buy it as an accessory.. As Iomega discovered, there is a huge inflection point in demand of any device at $200, and again at $100, and again below $50. The addition of a CLIK! device blows out all these important price points. THIS IS IMPORTANT, and should not be ignored or explained away, because it can't be!

Read that paragraph again. It sums up the entire CLIK! issue.

You anecdotal evidence is interesting, but is meaningless. The early adopters always show interest at first. The question will be the distillation into the masses. Don't forget also that many of the CLIK! buyers will not then require a ZIP drive and disks on top of it! (cannibalization).

You must also look at the market. ZIP's market is ALL PCs, so it's potential can be large, CLIK! is all digital cameras.. Does anyone here know the size of that market, broken down by price points? I bet that no one has that information here, but it is CRITICAL if you own this stock...
