You may want to try a generic VGA driver. I am just guessing..again.. You could setup a second hardware profile in device manager. That way you can keep your existing setup in tact and experiment with a second option.

In the second hard profile try loading the VGA driver for the video cards..it may help you determine if you have a hardware or software issue. Like Spots indicated..sometimes you just have to keep trying things until something works or gives you another clue.
