True my friend..i completely ignore Globex...completely...people seem to enjoy seeing massive moves "AFTER" the markets close...sometimes it comes true...but more often than not, it suprizes the other way...

i have the numbers and will trade accordingly...i'm cautious because of my P&F stuff...I will wait for my first 2 early warning indicators to reverse up before I dive in...they're close IKE...<g>..

Ike:

Market breadth continues to weaken:

But, the Transports bucked the trend today... Several major indexes are now below their 50 day moving averages, but the support levels are holding... There is money coming in each time the supports are challenged... One could could argue that there is plenty $$$$$ on the sidelines to keep holding these supports... We should know soon...

Ike,

What is your take on SPH holding 1228 firm, but the other indices breaking supports? Which will win in the end?

I found it fascinating that the SPOO came back the way it did in the face of such weakness in the other sectors....

<<It will never lag because it never makes market
reading so difficult that simple analysis is just overlooked, watch out for SOX 392
they may try to rattle some soft hands and take it to 382 area but it is one hell of a
opportunity as far as other indicators are go.. It is therefore for me SP9H the most
important indicator and other indicators are forward warning signals.>> IQBAL LATIF on Feb 17 1999 1:30PM EST

<< let market show you the direction, if it has to break let
50 days MA on DTX is taken out or BKX breaks thru 788 or 1235 is taken out or
1923 on NDX, it is mass pesimism on which smart money thrives and one needs to
be on the side of smart money.>>

After seeing the break of 392 on SOX and 1223 on NDX, I sold SP9H 1300 for 11 and 1/2 and purchased 1200 at 26 and chnage.. I covered in the last few minutes of SP9H closing, as I saw SP9H bouncing off the 1226 support, it is still below 1235 and a cloase at these levels does not bode well for the market, we will slip to 1192 minimum..If we take out 1235 today we will consider this break as a false break, on SOX I think we will hold this support..1228 is a trendline support and one needs to watch it carefully however it is closing below 1235 that would matter as 1255 will establish a resistance. The sell programmes which hit the market is testing the soft hands, and as you notice that I raised this issue on SOX breaking 392 area when market was moving higher, as I know the psychology behind these moves..
