In addition to these vehicles, there are very large pension funds and insurance companies and other types of funds. Their bias is towards "blue chips" and most blue chips, by definiton, pay a dividend. victor, I wrote three long paragraphs on the topic. I was distracted, and my browser timed me out. All the work was lost. After giving this some thought, I don't think the topic worth a rewrite. A simple summary statement will serve the purpose. Dividends are good. NW
