Jing, FWIW, I've used Excite consistently for the past two years as my do-everything portal and found I almost never needed to refer to an external news source. Between Excite's news categories and "news tracker" feature I always felt fully informed. And I'm on ALL the time. Excite's content and features are fantastic; they really have a knack for bringing the power and magic of the internet to the casual surfer.
