That's quite a statement made by Steve Harmon, (the Canadian Internet Stock Analyst) when he said "typically Canadian companies get about 10% of the value of their US counterparts". In other words what is he saying here??, if BID.COM is valued at US$4.40/sh. (Cdn.$6.60/share) in Canada, it would be valued at ----in the USA.????? Something wrong here, I can't be reading that right.!!!! I don't think there been a study on what % of NASDAQ and DOW shareholders know about BID.COM, if you ask me I would say less than 5%, but who knows, some of those NASDAQ Internet stocks may only trade 2 million, but the value of those shares may be US$200.00/sh.(Cdn$300.00/sh.)that can add up to a few bucks.!!!One person buying 1000 EBAY shares could pick up quite a few of BID.COM shares.!! isn't a company with 30 million Canadian shares outstanding the same as a similar US company with only 20 million shares.???
