Mr. Teflon,

Do you have the guts ?

You may sell 10000 shares of your stock and buy 700contracts of year 2001
strike price $200 leaps . By Jan of 2001 , if the stock price hit $300 ( $150 after split), you still have 20 months left, your 700 contracts will generate $7 millions for you . While if you still keep your 10000 shares, your profit will be only $1.5 million. So, do you have the guts to bet that Microsoft will hit $175 by year 2001 ( after the current split) ?

As for short term option trading , well , it is too risky, anything can happen in the short term. I can only predict the long term trend.
