S, >>> NT stinks part V<<<

OK OK, I got your message. However, I know quite a few people, from different engineering disciplines, that run applications under NT and are satisfied with it.

All the other key operating systems will run/do run on Intel chips anyway. NT is not that super critical to an Intel investor any more.

How about Windows 2000? Pretty good article about it in this week's Business Week. Also reasonable overview on computing in general for the non-technical observer. Back to Win2000, article says the top project manager in charge says he gets at least a couple of emails from Gates every day saying 'don't ship it before it's time.' (wine commercial?).
