i've read kathryn stahley's book (spelling is wrong, but approximate), which is supposed to be one of the better book on shorting...although it's not good for the timing, it is good for 'here's how to find companies which have something fishy about them'. - bob

Roger Babb is another shorter and has a couple of threads havent read him in a while but you might want to check out his threads too I think he is the only one on SI that has a moderated thread
