Just catching your Amat post. Excellent coverage. (g)

A couple of added notes. Amat requires $1.0 billion per quarter in back order. Per quarter. The current back order exceeds that number, but covers more than one quarter. The type of orders being booked tell that story.

This year is likely to see substantially reduced PC unit sales (y-o-y). This is an absolute blanket on semi growth. The semi producers know this. They also know that yield gains already in the pipeline will swamp the demand requirements of this market, Kip the Lip to the contrary.

I agree with your comments on the quality of this company,...great balance sheet, good management, excellent technology,....just the wrong business at the wrong time.

I like their puts right now. (g)

Best, Earlie
