CNBC just had Bob Gabele of First Call on to talk about insider selling. Michael Dell has over 200 million shares, so he wasn't concerned about a sale of 1 or 2 million. He said that insider sales right before earnings was not as important for the current quarter because regulatory agencies would be suspicious of sales right before an announcement. However, sales at this time might be more related to earnings announcements 1 to 2 quarters later, so he would keep an eye on DELL.

He was then asked about the 1.8 million shares of YHOO yesterday, since the sale was well below the 52-week high. He said that such sales were more of a concern. Insider sales near a top are not a concern, but sales into a correction are.
