frank.....try not to time the market.....very costly, and you usually end up on the wrong side of the trade....bought dell @ 92.75 on friday, 82.50 today...sold 40 contracts of dell jan 01 120 puts for a 5200/contract premium....why?, because i cannnot logically concede that this is the "all time forever high, never going to see 120 no way, no how point".....lived through market gyrations since the seventies...good thing about today's market with it's incredible liquidity is that the blowouts don't drag on for months as they used to....." forecasts usually tell us more of the forecaster than of the future"..(warren buffett...fortune magazine may 1977). the trend of the market has been, is, and will be up.....buy quality which dell is, hold until fundamentals really change...and reap the profits...those on the thread who claim they make better calls with their number crunching than michael dell....wonder what their net worth is...rather be ignorant and wealthy than educated and poor...those who can do...those who can't, talk about it...good luck, edamo
