I agree, but he should have gotten a better fill.
I use Brown & Co, and last night entered 3 limit orders (day) to buy
dell, at limit prices of 80, 75, and 70 (equal number of shares
on each order). The first price (80) is the only one executed,
obviously. I got 78 1/4, the opening price. My higher limit
sure left room for me to get ripped off (ie, filled at 80) but
that didn't happen. Brown and/or it's MM did it right for me.

I now have 50% more shares than I used to, averaged up...
